Interested in the role of a Personal Care Assistant?

This is a physical job that requires patience, flexibility, thoughtfulness and a sense of humour.

Become part of a small team of Personal Assistants providing a level of care that enables a female, full-time wheelchair user, with high dependency needs, to live independently and have an active and interesting life

HOURS REQUIRED: 15-20 hours per week spread over full days; late evenings; some weekends, sleepovers & Bank Holidays, including Christmas/New Year. Must be available for extra hours for holiday/sickness/emergency cover.

EXPERIENCE: is not necessary as in-house training given. ESSENTIAL: Willingness to learn, confidentiality, communication, and reliability.

ESSENTIAL:  Full British driving licence + ability to assist in hydro pool + ability to cope with dark, cold mornings & evenings

LOCALITY: must be local to the Gravesend/Northfleet area

GOOD rate of pay and conditions (discussed at interview)
