CiLK plans for a No Deal Brexit

CiLK plans for a No Deal Brexit

In the event of the Kent Road Network becoming congested due to a No Deal Brexit or Operation Stack being implemented, Centre for Independent Living Kent has the following plan:

1. Staff work from home if getting to the office/outreach/meetings would take unrealistic time to travel or if we are being advised not to travel.

2. A message to be placed here on our website, on our Facebook page and on our telephone answer message. We will plan to provide support remotely, by phone and/or email if travelling to clients or meetings is unrealistic.

3. Regular updates to be circulated and posted to update members, clients, professionals about CiLK activities and intentions.

We will also check the messages and advice being given by the NHS (Local Clinical Commissioning Groups) and Kent County Council as well as other service partners in order to keep our members and other Disabled People well informed about any service disruptions.

During this time the CiLK answer phone and email contact will remain in use:

Tel: 01233 633187

Email: [email protected]

We will review the situation on a daily/weekly basis.

We appreciate that this is not ideal and hope that we will be able to continue to deliver services during this time with as little disruption as possible.
